In this week’s Georgia Straight is my latest “Trigger Happy” column, which this week is about the Web site Maid Marian.

The site was created and is managed by Gene Endrody, former Radical employee, and he makes a nice living off of an advertising-based model of providing free MMORPG games for people to play.

Get the details here.

Also in this week’s column are my reviews of Warhawk and Sonic Rush Adventures.

This is crazy. As an inflight ad – and an external viral Web campaign – Emirates Airline brings us Nonstop Fernando.

In the video, Fernando talks to a camera for 14 hours, 40 minutes, the length of the nonstop flight from Dubai to Sao Paulo, Brasil, which happens to be the new offering from Emirates.

He doesn’t just ramble, either, he actually talks about Sao Paulo, and Brasil, ranging from history to culture to people he knows.

There don’t appear to be any cuts or edits in the video, which means that Fernando really talked to the camera – to us – for nearly fifteen hours straight.

The Web site allows you to step in to the video at any point, and the video streams on the airplane during the entire flight.

No passengers have yet matched Fernando’s stamina.
